Young, energetic
and incredibly versatile, Antix band members are highly experienced
professional performers who tour with celebrity acts and even appear on TV.
"Our bands live and breathe music," confides lead vocalist and band leader
Brooke, a seasoned perfectionist who is noted for her ability to tailor her
bands' acts to client requests. "We have a respect for all musical styles,
and we can get people dancing no matter what."
"They really know how to work a crowd," reports a Las Vegas soundman who has
seen Antix in action. "Our guests range from their 20s to their late 60s;
Antix engages the whole audience." Thousands of people have enjoyed Antix
performances at Disneyland while Brides and Grooms from Anchorage to San
Diego have hired The Antix to ensure that their special day is spectacular.
All aspects of your special event can be covered, from ceremony or cocktail
hour music, to emcee announcements and dancing.
Often booked because of their youth and ability to play current music, these
bands have a repertoire that is flexible enough to please guests of all
ages. They're quite comfortable performing old standards like
"Unforgettable" and "As Time Goes By," as well as disco, Motown, classic
rock and jazz, but they also feature music from today's groups like No Doubt
and Matchbox 20. This makes them extremely popular at weddings or corporate
events where most of the audience is the same generation as the band.
"Playing clubs regularly keeps us in touch with our audiences," acknowledges
Brooke. "We get lots of requests so we find out which new songs we should be
learning." Clients always receive a long list of songs from which they can
pick and choose.
