Trade Winds is primarily a dance band made up of some of the finest musicians in the Central Valley. We are organized along the lines of a traditional Big Band of the Swing era in that we are a large group, composed of 5 Saxes, 3 Trumpets, 3 Trombones, and a full rhythm section plus a vocalist. The music we play can be best described as a mixture of Swing, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Blues, and Latin from the 40's through the 90's. We try to tailor our musical performance to the preferences of our audience. INFLUENCES: Big Bands Of The 40's, Early Rockabilly and Doo-Wop, Soul & Motown, Latin, Jazz and Classic Rock.
What a great band! They
played everything from "In The Mood" to "Crazy Train". This bunch of
musicians kept people Dancin' and Groovin' all night long! I'd book them
