Legacy is an 8 piece 60's thru 90's Top 40 band that features a live Horn Section. We chose the name Legacy because of the meaning, (something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past.) The music we play is the legacy of the original artist that performed it. Legacy is one of the few bands with a live horn section. While some bands today use electronic gimmicks to produce their sound, Legacy is proud to say they perform all music selections 100% live, always have and always will! The rich, full sound of a live brass section produces a sound and energy level that cannot be matched by any other type of live entertainment. When it comes to putting on a high energy show, this group of guys know how to kick it. You may remember the old commercial for Memorex tapes, "Is it live, or is it Memorex?" Our little inside joke is, "Is it live? Damn right it is, it's Legacy!"
