The Eastside Rhythm & Blues Combo is a collage of musicians that combines for decades of experience between us. Together ERBC aspires to be the most explosive band on all sides of the Puget Sound. Our group covers R&B and classic blues songs from the 60's to the present. Our mission is to add great songs, good times and the timeless art of groove to the greater Seattle area. Jim Plano - Drums Jim has played on over 20 CDs, recorded 35 demo tapes, 12 albums, 18 single recordings and over 50 radio ads. He is a veteran of the Northwest music scene since the mid-'50s. He has played on television, radio and been on stage for fifty years. He has played with the Crome Syrcus, J.B. Hutto, Paul Butterfield Band, the Box Tops, Dick Dale and the Deltones and many other national acts. Bill Charlton - Bass/Vocals Born in Glendale California, Bill grew up in the Seattle area. He began playing harmonica in the early '60s, and thanks to the help and friendship of Joe Johnson and other aspiring bass players, he began playing bass in the late '60s. Bill has played with many groups in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. "I've been playing music most of my life. I love the bottom end of the sound, but it has to groove and swing. I really love it when I see people dance to the groove." Jeff Ziontz - Guitar Jeff has a lot of experience in the Seattle scene. For thirty years he has played for artists as diverse as comedian Andy Kaufman, to blues harpist Charlie Musclewhite. Jeff has composed dance music for television and played country, rock, R&B, blues and jazz in Seattle's most popular clubs. Sean Braxton - Piano/Vocals Sean Braxton is an up-and-coming musician on the Seattle music scene. He has performed at such places as Carnegie Hall and Disneyland. Sean writes and arranges a cappella music for groups around the area as well as writing originals for outside projects. He has performed in such groups as Shoreline's Funk and Groove, Shoreline Singers, and a cappella group Five to 1. Brynn Berger - Vocals/Percussion Born in the small town of Yakima, Brynn grew up with a big voice. Not realizing her full potential until playing a star role in the musical "Wizard of Oz," she has been focusing on building her performance resume. Being a key link in Shoreline's Funk and Groove, Brynn would kick off the set with her chilling interpretation of "Chain of Fools" and would delight the crowd with the Anita Baker show stopper "Sweet Love."
