It's easy to see why folks keep requesting Second Wind for all of their events. From the Opening Gala for the Goodwill Games, or a trade show at the Kingdome, to a private party for the richest man in the world.
Second Wind has performed at over 300 weddings, parties, fund raising galas and corporate events. This award winning group knows how to keep party goers dancing. As Helen Stusser, the gala chairman for the Seattle Repertory Theater wrote, "It was incredible to see how the dance floor became alive as soon as Second Wind started to play!" A variety band for all ages Second Wind performs classic hits from the forties to the nineties and delivers them with all the flavor of the original. With five vocalists, including a classically trained lead singer, this ensemble can handle just about any style with some of the best harmony vocals in the Northwest.
Many years of experience performing together for over eleven years, this solid line-up of professional musicians features a college music professor, two high school music directors, along with two recording artists who have released their own CD's of original music. Several members have also performed in national touring bands and have played in cities all over the U.S. and Canada.
Second Wind performs as a 6 piece, Including sax and trumpet or as a 10 Piece band with a full 5 piece live horn section. The band also includes a capable sound technician to operate the sound and assure quality in the production.
