Their new 2 act show, “Zoot Suit Boogie!” puts the jest into jazz

with a toe tappin,' horn driven celebration of the 1940's Jump Jive and Revival Swing. “Mining Jazz for its Forgotten Funny Bone”- declared the Village Voice.

Funny Jazz Chick, Joan Crowe, who the New York Times called “A slightly twisted and superbly talented chanteuse” has assembled some of New York's hippest jazz cats and kittens into an unforgettable ensemble, complete with a professional jazz dancer whose shows off moves that spotlight the swing dance craze! Close your eyes and you'll believe the great Louis Armstrong has returned when trumpeter Riley Mullins plays and sings Satchmo's greatest hits.

It's the golden age of music infused with a modern sense of humor with songs from masters of wit, like Cab Calloway, Fats Waller, Louis Jordon, and big band hits including the music of Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, The Dorsey brothers, and Count Basie.

But the fun doesn't stop there. The Jesters also draw from the repertoire of the1990's swing revival bands, such as Cherry Poppin Daddies, Brian Setzer, Royal Crown Review, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

It's the music that helped the greatest generation survive the great depression and it is sure to work its magic once again!
