Mike Maxwell is a local stand up comedian with over five years experience. He has performed across the U.S. while on tour to colleges, universities, and prep schools. Mike has also performed at clubs, benefits and stand up festivals. Mike Maxwell has grown up in the Midwest and just can't seem to leave it. Most of his life has been making mountains out of mole hills. Fortunately, he has focused that skill into obsessive humor with a sharp sarcastic outlook. To date Mike makes sure he is his own best punch line in his show that many view as "original, intelligent, and bold." Although his style is traditional in the sense of stand up, Mike ensures that his crowd will get a whole new perspective on the absurd and simply ridiculous. The hot button matters that many crowds want to laugh about get served to his audience in a way sticks to them so they can try and retell it to friends and coworkers.

The plight of the tall man is not one Mike has sought out but one that has chosen him. Mike's career has reached great levels year after year. He has performed for thousands and traveled to approximately twenty five colleges and prep schools while showcasing in Chicago. Mike Maxwell has performed at the renowned Chicago's Zanies Comedy club over a half dozen times for the "Rising Talent Showcase." His suburban fans follow Mike all over but they see him constantly at Comedy Under the Tap in Oswego, Illinois as host, feature and headliner. Mike has also been featured at numerous charity shows, and will be competing in the national stand up comedy contest "Laughing Skull Comedy Festival."
