The Schematics are a seattle based Jazz trio, consisting of an all-star line up of local talent. Alex Westcoat (drums) is known as the house dummer for Barsuk Records, currently performing with the nationally recognized front man of "pedro the lion," David Bazan. Jeff Leonard (bass) records and performs with many artists including, NW favorite, Vicci Martinez. Colby Sander (guitar) is a celebrity among seattle musicians, known for his studio recordings and collaborations with some of the areas top Country acts. This trio from different sides of seattle's thriving music scene, share a history and love of performing jazz standards. When the members of The Schematics are not touring the country with their respective projects, they enjoy reconnecting and making time for the genre of music that still excites them the most! JAZZ!!!

The Schematics enjoy providing musical entertainment for all types of events, and the volume/style of music can be customized on the spot to accomedate requests and enhance the overall success of the occassion. The band has experience performing at weddings, charity banquets, winery tastings, farmers markets, jazz clubs, etc. Be it for ambiance or even dancing, we deliver all of the authentic swing, bebop, samba, latin, reggae, R&B and funk favorites!
