JimBo Trout has been performing on guitar, banjo, harmonica and kazoo for over 25 years both as a solo and as part of San Francisco power-house acoustic band JimBo Trout and the Fishpeople. His music is a fun, energetic mix of bluegrass, western-swing, ragtime, early blues, honky-tonk, early rock+ roll and much more! He has performed at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and all of the Bay Area's biggest clubs including The Independent, Great American Music Hall, Slim's, The Mystic Theater, Bottom of the Hill and more! As a solo he has opened up for Dave Alvin, The Hackensaw Boys, Man or Astroman and more. He performs frequently at weddings, restaurants, children's events, civic events, funerals, nightclubs, and just about anywhere else where music is needed.
