Formed in 2007 in the hills of small town Petaluma, Hillside Fire fuses a blend of Heavy Rock, Folk and Blues. A fresh band working hard and keeping active in the Bay Area opening for national touring acts such as Johnny Winter, Blue Oyster Cult, Pato Banton, Tommy Castro, The Expendables, Jackie Green and A.L.O.

In August 2009, Hillside Fire released their debut album 'Avoid The Rush' and continue D.I.Y. tours of California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and beyond.
