Hello, my name is Robyn Groen and I am the singer, bandleader, emcee (MC) and owner of The Troubadours Band. My group is based out of San Diego and I offer live music nationwide. I have several music ensembles that you may choose. I perform from a duo to an 8 piece band and I offer many combos within my groups. I have talented singers and an exceptional horn section. We play a wide variety of hit music from the 1940's to today. I even sing in Spanish! Below is a description of the many options for you to choose:

ENSEMBLE PACKAGES

Packages include up to 4 hours of entertainment, MC services, 3 additional hours of set up and tear down, a professional sound and lighting system, as well as cds played during the band breaks The time and length of breaks are determined by your itinerary to ensure optimum flow and momentum for your celebration. We will also learn your favorite song as well as compose lyrics especially for you!

The Troubadours Duo:

Our duo features 1 female and 1 male vocalist, 2 part harmonies, keyboards, key bass and drum machine. It's an amazingly full sound of standards, pop, and a little bit of dance music ideal for small cocktail and dinner parties.

The Troubadours Trio:

The trio consists of 1 female vocalist and 2 male vocalists, keyboard, key bass, drums, and 3 part harmonies. It provides quite a full sound and can cover standards, contemporary pop and some dance music.

The 4 piece:

Our quartet is an ensemble of 1 female vocalist and 3 male vocalists, keyboard, guitar or saxophone, key bass, drums, and 4 part harmonies. This combo provides a very full sound of our repertoire and not only includes great jazz and ballads, but also all the great hits you love to dance to like that good old rock and roll, R&B/Motown, disco, Latin, country and swing. We really keep the dance floor shakin'!

The 5 piece:

Our five piece band consists of 1 female vocalist and 3 male vocalists, keyboard, guitar, bass or saxophone, drums, and 4 part harmonies.

The 6 piece:

There are options with our six piece band as well. This group includes 1 female vocalist and 3 male vocalists, keyboard, guitar, drums, a bass player and a saxophonist or you may choose to have a trumpet player instead of bass allowing you to experience the fun and excitement of our two piece horn section.

The 7 piece: Lucky #7

Lucky number 7 piece is an ensemble of 1 female vocalist and 3 male vocalists, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and trumpet.

The 8 piece: The whole shebang!

For people who are wild about live horns, we offer a 3 piece horn section to compliment our female vocalist 3 male vocalists, keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums.

Band & DJ Option
Packages may be combined with professional DJ services and special lighting options.
