The Russ Wilcox Jazz Group is one of the most popular jazz and function bands in both the Cape Cod and Boston areas. The ensemble itself is comprised of the most prominent upcoming musicians in the region, who have performed with Wynton Marsalis, Greg Abate, Alex Brown (Paquito D'Rivera's Pianist), and the late Steven Niel (who is best known as McCoy Tyner and Roland Kirks bassist) and have been featured at many prominent venues including: The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Wally's Jazz Club, the Cotuit Center for the Arts, and the Provincetown Arts Association Museum.

We offer ensembles that are suited for concert and private event settings. In fact, we specialize in providing light background music perfect for any cocktail or dining hour. We have performed at many restaurants in the area including: Avenue 1 at the Boston Hyatt (monthly residence in 2011), The New Seabury Country Club (weekly residence in summer of 2012), The Belfry Inn and Bistro, the Harvest Gallery Wine Bar and many others. We seek to provide music that will entertain your guests without interrupting their dining experience and conversation.
