MOD MEN is a high energy, highly rehearsed, intensely danceable musical ensemble specializing in 60's dance music with a ‘mod' 60's look!
The music of the 1960's was as revolutionary as the times. it's not only the music that forever changed music, it's the music that helped change the world. Even today's popular music can trace its roots back the 60's and those visionary artists who collectively opened our minds to entirely new musical realms.
The influence of the 60's music is so utterly pervasive that it's difficult to find any musical group that covers popular hits that doesn't include at least a few 60's tunes in their repertoire. MOD MEN however, specializes exclusively in 60's dance and party hits, many of which are rarely played by today's cover bands, but are songs that virtually everyone loves and remembers from all age groups!
Furthermore, MOD MEN renditions are faithful to the original recordings and utilize the original instrumental arrangements and tones as well as the original lead vocal and harmony parts. In other words, we don't interpret 60's music, we present these timeless classics as they were originally recorded and meant to be performed! We feel the music was perfect just as it was and are committed to maintaining the integrity of the original recordings. So, its music that not only gets you up – it takes you back!
Finally, MOD MEN not only bring back the sounds of the 60's but also the look. From Beatle boots to skin-tight pants, mod shirts and a taste of genuine 60's choreography, we deliver the 60's experience for both ears and eyes!
MOD MEN is comprised of 4 seasoned musicians, all of whom bring an exceptional level of expertise to their instrument and decades of performing experience to the stage.
