The band "Hush" has been a Boston area favorite since 1979 playing at weddings, corporate functions, concerts, nightclubs, fund raisers, holiday parties and private functions. Although based in the greater Boston area, the band has performed in Newport, New York City, Cape Cod, Eastern and Western Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

The band performs music from Frank Sinatra and Big Band up to today's latest dance music. The band also offers a DJ service on breaks so there is continuous music for the entire function. Hush's music spans from the Big Band and swing music of the 30's to the contemporary music of the 90's and includes, Motown, R&B, Alternative, Top 40, Rock, Classic hits, Jazz, Country, Reggae and ethnic music such as Italian, Irish, Jewish and more. All combined, the group brings lively, interactive performance to any event.

Hush prides itself on excellent vocals, 4 part harmonies, music that sounds like the record and an exciting presentation that gets people up and dancing. The group consists of male vocalist Lloyd Owens, female vocalist Liz Lord, Craig Stevens on keys and vocals, Mike Witt on drums, Brian Kane on sax and flute and Mike McCay on guitar and vocals. The band also offer trumpet and trombone for a full three piece brass section on request.
Hush uses a state of the art EAW sound system. The same type of system most requested by national recording artists when they perform at Harborlights or the Fleet Center, on a smaller scale of course. This high end system gives Hush a full, rich sound that few other bands can match.
