The Atlantics

Sizzling Dance Music: The Atlantics are a High Energy dance band of five experienced musicians who truly love what they are doing and it shows on stage! With years of combined experience on stage they know what it takes to make a good thing happen with the same line-up in the band since 1979. This brings an extra element to the show since it is anything but a "pick-up" band.

The group can read the audience and play the right music all the time, and of course when musicians play together that long, they are intuitive among the members, creating a tight sound that just can't be recreated by bands with little time performing together. Carrying on the tradition of some of the great dance bands of The Northwest, they play a mix of infectious popular music from the last 35 years. Members of the group have also performed with such celebrity personalities as: John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt, T-Bone Burnett, Chubby Checkers, The Powder Blues Band and The New Deal Rhythm Band.

Styles Of Music: Rhythm & Blues, Motown hits of the 1960's, Top 40, Rock from the 50's 60's 70's & 80's, Jazz and easy listening for background music.

Performers & Instrumentation: Keyboards, Bass, Guitar, Drums, and sax. All five members are also vocalist, bringing out the strong harmony vocals that will remind you of many of the original classic recordings. Add Extra Horns to the Band for an even stronger punch!
