STYLES--SOLO AND GROUPS AVAILABLE
Intimate Spanish and baroque classical guitar; danceable swinging jazz
standards; the sweet sounds and rhythms including Bossa Nova and
Samba; Tango, World Beat and Flamenco jazz; French/Italian/Jewish. Some
smooth jazz and pop. Julian offers solo guitar or combinations of
instruments with guitar to enhance your event including duos (with 2nd
guitar, flute, or bass), trios, and quartets (with keyboards, drums, and
saxophone).
EXPERIENCE
From studies in classical guitar with Carlos Barbosa-Lima and Guillermo
Fierens (a student of Segovia) and over 25 years performing experience.
Recent performances include the Space Needle, Seattle Tennis Club, the
Sorrento Hotel, (and prior) four years at the Hyatt Regency. Other
appearances include Seattle's best clubs, theaters, and regional festivals
such as Bumbershoot. He teaches guitar at Seattle Pacific University, and
NSCC and SCC.
